About

Hope has worked in museums and arts organizations across the greater Los Angeles area, including LACMA, the Museum of Latin American Art, Self Help Graphics & Art, Vincent Price Art Museum, and La Plaza de Cultura y Artes. She is an alumna of the A.W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship and the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship programs.

Born and raised in East Los Angeles, Hope has long been immersed in the L.A. art scene. She was an active, award-winning member of the Vocal Music Department at the L.A. County High School for the Arts, which earned her a scholarship to the dual B.A./B.F.A. program at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and Eugene Lang, the New School for Liberal Arts in New York City. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Hope transitioned from studying Jazz Performance and Eastern Religions to Art History and Studio Art, with a focus on photography and ceramics.

Hope earned a B.A. in Art History at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) in 2021 after earning an A.A. in Art History at East Los Angeles College (ELAC) in 2019. She credits the strong artistic community at ELAC and CSULB with accelerating her growth as a creative professional. Hope draws upon her Mexican, Native American, and Armenian ancestry for inspiration, and has artistic and scholarly research interests ranging from protest and performance art to 3D modeling and printing for digital humanities.
